There are lots of Make Money Online blogs on the net, all claiming to make money online. But are these online money for real? Or is online money really overrated? If you notice, this blog doesn't have the word 'Make' in its name, because as you can see in the tag line, it doesn't really claim to make money online, but just getting my fair share.
Now to my question of online money being overrated... honestly, I am of the opinion that it is. Sure, maybe some do really earn money, but as to the actual amount they're earning viz-a-viz with what their blogs are earning... I don't know.
I'm not one to discredit these blog, but I frown everytime I read at online forum boards someone asking question like "How can I have a blog? I'd like to have an extra income" Somehow, I imagine them reading one or two blogs earning so much from their blogs and claiming that it is such an easy thing... just like picking apples!
Truth is, making money online is not an overnight thing. It needs work... and more work, and then some more work. A blog is not an 'if you build it they will come thing', you need to go out. Seek for the money and don't just wait for it dropping on your blogs.
I won't be giving you tips on how make money online, not now... not yet. Maybe, when I am actually making money online, I would share them. But right now, this is what I can say, while some blogs claim to be earning online income, and perhaps they actually do, please remember that while it may be difficult not to be envious of these people and wanting to get a share too, let us not keep our hopes high. Not unless you're willing to invest lots of time working on your blog.

i believe those blogs claiming to make money online do make money online. Afterall, there are a lot of ways to earn with blogs.
Just today, while entrecard hopping, i chanced upon a blog selling 1000 EC credits for 3 dollars.. so that' already one way to earn some cash.
Then, there's adsense.. it maybe a bit slow for others to get the needed initial $100 (my first blog took more than a year lol) for the payout but after that, things will get a bit easier na.
Then, there are sponsored posts like blogtoprofit and sponsoredreviews... and a lot of bloggers have been earning from those.
Like what you said, and i super agree, it's hard work talaga.. nohing's for free, ye know.. :)
PS: kuya, there's a songwriting competition organized by the ASEAN. 20k dollars ang price. I know you're into songwriting so maybe you could give it a try. It's on my blog. :)

The best money maker for me is still adsense ads. As iva said (in the comments), it takes a while ... but my site has now over 300 pages, has a moderate page rank, about 5,000 visits a day ... all translate to a tidy sum of patatas. Just be patient, add posts at least three times a week, wag mag-duplicate posts from anywhere else ... be passionate about what you are writing.

I entered blogging not knowing anything and I thought it was that easy, but as you and Iva said , it takes time, slowly I'm earning now, i have just been sent my first payout at mylot ..puede ng pangkape pag puyat sa gabi sa ka ka blogging... Don't give up as you go along, your earnings will increase slowly.

yes..they're for real... but as always, there's no such as free lunch even on this online businesses... somehow you need to invest too...sleepless night, unique content, driving traffic and making your blog KNOWN!
