Changes and improvements are continuously happening at Entrecard since it has been acquired by Ziprunner.

The latest of these is the Entrecard Referral Program, a great way to earn 300 EC credits. All you you need to do is to refer new members to Entrecard and the 300 EC credits will be given to you after 14 days.

To help you get referrals, Entrecard has prepared your referral link which you can use to invite friends and your blog readers to sign up.

To get your referral link, just check your dashboard and post the link, widget, and/or banner in site to start earning 300 credits.

Great new changes has been happening to Entrecard since it has been acquired by Ziprunner. While I am not really skeptic or cynical at that development then, it doesn't really matter much to me as I was not active with EC anymore then.

After an introductory post from the new 'admin' a great news came - the removal of paid-ads!

Yes!

That was one of the reasons I became inactive with EC, I even remove the widgets of some of my personal blogs because paid-ads are appearing in the blogs even if you didn't approve them! You have to log in and reject them to get rid of them.

Next came the news on the new ways to earn and spend EC credits. Hmm... I will sink my teeth into this later.

And the latest is the improvement and changes in Entrecard! And I've never been so glad!

My favorite is the auto-approving of adverts requests. I was hesitant at first about this option... but come to think of it, I have been approving all adverts ever since I can remember! So this is a good update for me, and as the news said, it allows you to run Entrecard on auto-cruise.

I haven't been really active lately, so this feature would save me a lot of time. And once I log in, I can just concentrate on dropping and placing ads (I hope most choose the auto-approve option)

Well, with these developments, I might put back the EC widgets on my personal blogs anytime soon.

I received an email alert the other day that says Entrecard has been acquired by Ziprunner.

Now because I haven't been active in Entrecard lately, I really didn't give it much attention. But when it sinked in, I realized that I should be concerned... even though I am not active there.

I haven't been active because there where some implemented changes which really didn't appear likable to me, like paid ads appearing on widget and 'privatizing' the forum.

Now with these development and Ziprunner at the front, could this mean a better Entrecard and a better deal for us members?

Here's hoping that it is for the better... because although I haven't been active (dropping, advertising and all), I've met a lot of great bloggers through this community.

It's September 23, 2008 12:00 MN, Philippine time, that only means that my first ever contest is officially over. I would like to thank all who supported me in my first project. I am really very happy with the turnout, considering that I was not able to fully promote it on the EntreCard forum because I can't access the Promotion Section everytime I log in.

What makes me even happier is that, the blogs whose contests I joined in before, came here and supported my contest. I am very grateful for that. This is the very essence of bloggers supporting bloggers. Okay, before I get too mushy, I'd like to say thanks to all who took time and supported me in this contest. I was just cruising through different blogs to drop my ECard and possibly advertise on some, when I happen to stumble upon the blog of Kabalyero. It must be fate that lead me there, because he is having a contest right now, and he is giving away 2,000 Entrecards Credits as a prize.

What is great about this contest is that there really isn't much requirements. Just a blog post like this about the contest, and you're in. How simple can that be?

This contest started last August 24, 2008 and will end on September 15, 2008. So there's more than two (2) weeks to join in. As of this writing, there were just five (5) comments posted on the topic, this would make six (6). That means I have a good fighting chance.
